What makes our products different?
Our handmade products are made using 100% certified organic cotton fabric with a hemp/silk trim. Our 233 thread count certified organic cotton sateen is woven in India or the U.S., printed with low-impact inks and dyes in the U.S. and certified organic by SKAL (now going by Control Union outside of The Netherlands). Printed fabrics conform to the OTA fiber processing standards and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards). Our trim is a blended charmeuse from China composed of 40% silk for softness and 60% naturally grown hemp raised as a companion crop without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers for durability. Farm and mill workers are paid a fair wage for their work, receive benefits, and have a significant amount of say about their jobs.
